Archcare

ArchCare serves as the continuing-care arm of the Archdiocese of New York, offering faith-based care grounded in Catholic values of compassion, justice, inclusiveness, respect, integrity, benevolence, humility, and spirituality ([archcare.org](https://www.archcare.org/why-archcare/?utm_source=openai)).

It operates as a not-for-profit organization under the Archdiocese, providing care across the continuum—from nursing home facilities to home- and community-based services and health plans—serving older adults and individuals with specialized care needs across the New York region ([advancingstates.org](https://www.advancingstates.org/sites/default/files/ArchCare-Case-Report.pdf?utm_source=openai)).

The system includes eight skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers—which are nursing facilities located throughout the New York area—and a PACE program with multiple centers. ArchCare also runs home care services, assisted living, memory care units, a hospital for children (Mother Cabrini Hospital for Children with Special Needs), hospice services, and programs for Huntington’s disease and other specialized needs ([archcare.org](https://www.archcare.org/leadership/?utm_source=openai)).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, ArchCare invested over $2 million in infectious-disease prevention, and continues to maintain comprehensive infection-prevention protocols—including an IPC nurse at each nursing home and an Infectious Disease Medical Director ([archcare.org](https://www.archcare.org/leadership/?utm_source=openai)).
