The Goodman Group is a multi‑state, privately held senior living and health care operator founded in 1965 by Sidney A. Goodman. Originally focused on real estate and residential properties, the company expanded into health care under Sidney’s leadership.

John Goodman, Sidney’s son, took the business national in 1976 and steered growth into senior living models and intergenerational care programs. Following John’s passing in 2016, longtime executive Craig Edinger became CEO.

Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, The Goodman Group manages approximately 61 senior living, residential, and commercial properties across seven states, housing over 10,000 residents with more than 4,000 employees.
