About Regional Health Properties
Regional Health Properties, Inc., initially incorporated as Passport Retirement, Inc. in Ohio in 1991, acquired AdCare Health Systems in 1995 and later changed its name and structure, relocating its incorporation to Georgia by 2013. It has publicly traded common and preferred stock (OTCQB) and has evolved from a landlord leasing skilled nursing and senior housing facilities to third parties to a more integrated owner‑operator model after merging with SunLink Health Systems in August 2025.
Through the merger with SunLink, the company expanded into pharmacy services—including retail and institutional pharmacies and durable medical equipment—and began operating additional healthcare facilities directly, shifting its platform toward broader healthcare delivery beyond real estate leasing.
As of December 31, 2025, Regional held approximately $59.9 million in healthcare real estate investments, comprising a portfolio of 12 facilities: nine owned skilled nursing facilities, one leased skilled nursing facility, and two owned senior housing communities across the Southeastern U.S., including Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Ohio.
The company operates through three business segments: Healthcare Services (operation of skilled nursing and senior housing communities), Pharmacy Services (retail/institutional pharmacy and medical equipment), and Real Estate (leasing and subleasing healthcare properties).
