About Everyage Senior Living
EveryAge is a nonprofit organization that began in 1961 (then known as United Church Homes and Services) and rebranded to EveryAge in 2021 to reflect its mission of supporting all ages and stages of life—a legacy rooted in its Christian ministry heritage.
It operates a portfolio of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) that include independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care services. Its key campuses are Abernethy Laurels in Newton, NC; Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, NC; Lake Prince Woods in Suffolk, VA; and, as of October 1, 2024, Providence Place in High Point, NC.
EveryAge also operates PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs under Carolina SeniorCare in Lexington, NC—and expanded with a second location in New Bern, NC in 2025—and manages various affordable housing communities across North Carolina, including Covenant Place (Chapel Hill), Emmanuel’s Place (Statesville), Matthew’s Place (Albemarle), NOAH in New Bern, and The Willows in Burlington, serving low-income seniors.
Structurally, EveryAge is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer board, with various wholly-owned subsidiary entities for specific operations—such as Lake Prince Center, Inc.
