About Century Care Management

Century Care Management began with Noah Duncan acquiring a nursing home in Laurinburg, North Carolina (Scotland County) in 1983. The company was formed as Century Care Management, LLC in 1999 to provide operational and clinical support across multiple skilled-nursing facilities. When Noah Duncan passed away in 2011, ownership continued within the Duncan family.

Century Care remains a local, family-owned and -managed company—not part of any large national chain or corporate conglomerate.

As of 2025, the chain operates nine nursing-home facilities in seven towns across North Carolina, ranging geographically from the mountains to the coast.

Century Care provides residential skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, for people with complex medical conditions or recovering from surgery or illness. They emphasize licensed clinical staff, personalized care, and usage of technology in operations. They carefully describe having skilled, licensed staff and maintaining federal and state staffing-level compliance.
